Ingredients (Serves 2)


  • 1 baguette or Spanish barra, split lengthwise

  • 100–150 g jamón serrano or jamón ibérico, thinly sliced

  • Extra virgin olive oil (optional)

  • Fresh tomato, grated or sliced (optional)


Preparation


  1. Prepare the bread:

    • Slice the baguette lengthwise. Lightly toast if desired.

  2. Add tomato (optional):

    • Rub or spread grated tomato onto the cut side of the bread for extra flavor.

  3. Assemble sandwich:

    • Layer jamón evenly inside the bread.

    • Drizzle lightly with extra virgin olive oil if desired.

  4. Serve:

    • Close the sandwich, slice in half, and serve immediately.
