Ingredients (Serves 2)


  • 2 panini rolls or ciabatta sandwiches

  • 100 g mozzarella, provolone, or fontina cheese (sliced)

  • 80 g prosciutto, salami, or grilled chicken

  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced

  • Fresh basil or arugula leaves

  • Olive oil, for brushing

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste


Preparation


  1. Prepare the bread:

    • Slice the panini rolls horizontally.

    • Lightly brush the outer sides with olive oil.

  2. Fill the panini:

    • Layer cheese, meat, tomato slices, and fresh greens on the bread.

    • Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  3. Assemble:

    • Close the sandwiches firmly.

  4. Grill:

    • Heat a panini press or skillet over medium heat.

    • Grill panini for 3–5 minutes per side (or press) until bread is golden and cheese melted.

  5. Serve:

    • Slice and serve hot.
