Ingredients (Serves 2–4)


  • 4 slices of rustic French bread or baguette

  • 100 g soft cheese (brie, goat cheese, or cream cheese)

  • 100 g cured meats (optional, e.g., prosciutto, ham, or salami)

  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced

  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced

  • Fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or chives)

  • Olive oil, for drizzling

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste


Preparation


  1. Prepare the bread:

    • Slice rustic bread and lightly toast if desired for extra crunch.

  2. Add base:

    • Spread soft cheese evenly over each slice of bread.

  3. Layer toppings:

    • Add cured meats, tomato, cucumber, or other preferred toppings.

  4. Season:

    • Drizzle lightly with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.

  5. Serve:
